With 15 years of tutoring experience and international teaching expertise, Aamna specialises in Maths and English, helping students excel in exams and gain entry into top grammar schools.

Biography

Aamna studied at Heckmondwike Grammar School, where she successfully completed her GCSEs and A-levels. This background highlights her academic foundation in a well-regarded selective grammar school known for its strong emphasis on academic achievement.

She is an experienced educator specialising in Mathematics and English. She earned her teaching degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Durham University. With a passion for teaching English as a foreign language, Aamna has gained invaluable international experience in China, Hong Kong, and the Middle East.

Since graduating, Aamna has dedicated extensive time to teaching in both primary and secondary schools. Her commitment to education led her to various colleges, where she rose to the position of head of the Mathematics and Accounting department at the age of 23. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in mentoring and instructing trainee teachers, guiding them to deliver effective and progressive lessons.

In response to the challenges posed by Covid-19, Aamna transitioned from traditional school teaching to focus on tutoring programs across schools and colleges in Yorkshire. She has been pivotal in designing and delivering specialised plans aimed at bridging the learning gaps caused by the pandemic.

Throughout her 15 years of private tutoring, Aamna has helped numerous students gain entry into grammar schools. Additionally, through her carefully planned GCSE schemes, she has enabled struggling students to improve and excel, paving their way into higher education.

Aamna is a strong advocate for higher education, and the centre is designed and run by her to help every student reach their full potential. Thanks to her dedication, hundreds of students have successfully passed their exams through the tuition provided.
